GRID Architects

Specialist Architect – Mixed-Use Sector

More than 10 years specialist experience in the residential and commercial mixed use sector.

GRID’s reputation as a UK leader in residential and commercial mixed-use design is based on the highly skilled, experienced and dedicated staff who focus on their core practice rather than spread themselves across too many areas. GRID was formed with this tight and specific philosophy to specialize in masterplans, residential and mixed use, large and complex developments. As well as apartment blocks, towers, houses, affordable housing, one off houses and apartment interiors, GRID also provides design solutions for education, hospitality and public realm requirements. Within many masterplans, GRID has been asked to develop new typologies and facilities, extending from large retail outlets, educational uses, car parks, railway stations, public spaces and parks, leisure areas and swimming pools. GRID has a carefully developed analytical approach to design with the understanding of the site, the brief and public aspirations factored into a solution based model.

GRID has delivered a varied portfolio of mixed use projects ranging from US$13m to US$270m.

The GRID team has an extremely in-depth knowledge and understanding of the mixed use sector including master-planning, complex client requirements and technical standards.
